Larimer County Colorado, Fatal Car Accident Facts & Statistics
In 2021, Larimer County reported 29 fatal car accidents, causing 35 deaths. Of those deadly accidents, eight involved impaired drivers. As of August 2022, 17 individuals had lost their lives in 16 motor vehicle accidents on Larimer County roads since the beginning of the year. Intoxicated drivers were involved in four of those accidents.

- 2019: 7,425 (including 128 serious injury crashes)
- 2018: 7,428 (including 140 serious injury crashes)
- 2017: 7,359 (including 140 serious injury crashes)
Between January 1, 2022, and August 31, 2022, there were 123 motorcycle accidents in Larimer County; four led to DUI charges, while 16 had suspected alcohol involvement. Careless driving and speeding were also common factors in Larimer County motorcycle accidents. Going back to 2021, Larimer County had 184 reported motorcycle accidents, resulting in 13 individuals receiving DUI charges.
