In 2021, Arapahoe County had 47 fatal car accidents resulting in 51 deaths. Of those accidents, 16 involved impaired drivers. As of August 2022, 29 individuals had lost their lives in 28 motor vehicle accidents on Arapahoe County roads since the beginning of the year. A total of eight of those accidents involved intoxicated motorists.

Careless driving and speeding were also factors in these accidents. In 2021, Arapahoe County had 118 reported motorcycle accidents, three resulting in Dui charges.
