Keating Wagner Polidori Free is thrilled to announce the addition of Teresa Abel to the firm. Teresa assists clients with all aspects of complex commercial litigation. She has represented clients in a variety of commercial disputes including general corporate, transactional, real estate, and natural resources law.
Her practice focuses on working with corporations, public entities, and individuals across a spectrum of industries. She has experience with both traditional litigation and administrative proceedings in state and federal venues. Teresa is a strategic advocate who is dedicated to helping each of her clients throughout their cases, and she excels at finding unique solutions that meet each client’s needs.
Teresa began her legal career as a law clerk on the Colorado Court of Appeals, where she drafted judicial opinions for alternating divisions of the Court. Her experience with the Court of Appeals built on the knowledge and skills she developed as a judicial intern for Justice Boatright with the Colorado Supreme Court and Judge Tymkovich with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit. Teresa also gained valuable insight into effective legal advocacy while serving as an appellate clerk with the District Attorney’s Office for Colorado’s18th Judicial District.
Teresa graduated with top honors from the University of Georgia, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. She also received top honors from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where she earned her law degree.
