Mike Keating Featured on Business Law Panel

Mike Keating recently participated in a business of law panel at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where he and other panelists discussed the business concerns attorneys have in today’s legal practice. Keating, who graduated from the University of Denver in 2001, has balanced his private law practice with law firm management alongside his fellow partners for the last five years. The panel, which was sponsored by the Legal Marketing Association, also featured Connie Proulx from Wheeler Trigg O’Donnell and Tiffanie Stasiak of Kutak Rock. All three panelists discussed a range of issues including succession planning, being in a rapidly-growing city, and incorporating recent law school graduates into the firm can affect a firm’s business outlook and bottom line.

A full transcript of the group’s discussion, which was moderated by Law Week Colorado’s editor Tony Flesor, will appear in the Sept. 18 issue of Law Week Colorado.
